This is a great great book and well worth the read. It reinforces all the things that are common sense but easily forgotten in the modern world. A blue print for building wealth this books explains the difference between working for money and having your money work for you! I’m not the biggest reader but i couldn’t put this down and felt like i was learning a valuable life lesson which i still carry with me today. Definitely add this to your basket next time you’re ordering from Amazon

The 4-Hour Work Week: Escape the 9-5, Live Anywhere and Join the New Rich
Timothy Ferriss (Author)

Tim arguably invented the genre and Digital nomads all over the world cling to this like it’s their bible. Providing the foundation for practices used by millions living off a passive income, this book is a must read! I’ve started this, put it down, started it again and sometimes just use it as a reference book but if you are used to the “get a job, work hard and life will be great philosophy”, reading this could really change the way you think about things. Don’t just take my word for it, check it out the reviews here

How to Write Copy That Sells: The Step-By-Step System for More Sales, to More Customers, More Often
Ray Edwards (Author)

Amazon link

I was surprised by this book but trust me, its worth reading! You’ll soon notice that everything you read online is tailored to sell something and Ray gives an expert guide into how to master these skills for yourself. This could literally be worth heaps of cash in terms of higher conversions and more sales, plus it’s an enjoyable and easy read. I wouldn’t recommend it if i didn’t think there was something useful to gain so take my word for it and grab a copy, you wont regret it.

How google works
Eric Schmidt (Author)

Amazon link

I actually bought this book because i thought it was about how Google actually works, as in the search algorithm. Rather it turned out to be an enjoyable account of how Eric Schmidt and his co-workers built Google (i.m.o one of the best companies in the modern world) as an organisation by hiring the best people. If you want to run a company, read it. Lets face it, you could be learning from worse authors than the Chairman of Google. I enjoyed this, check it out here

The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference
Malcolm Gladwell (Author)

Amazon link

Easily one of the best books I’ve read. Gladwell explains and analyses the “tipping point” that magic moment when ideas, trends and social behavior cross a threshold, tip and spread like wildfire. Never more relevant than now in a world of ‘things going viral’. It’s an interesting and fascinating read which puts reason behind the otherwise very difficult to explain. You’ll feel like you are learning a secret which will equip you well in whatever field you chose to apply it. Grab a copy and you’ll know what i mean

Nigel Botterill (Author)

Something a little more lilght hearted, I was surprised i liked this book so dont be put off by the cheesy cover. Nigel Botterill had a successful corporate career before stepping off the ladder to make it on his own. Since then he has built five separate multi-million-pound businesses from scratch. Botty’s Rules tells you how he did it and how you can too by focusing on the right things! Give it chance and listen to the message he’s trying to deliver

Ashlee Vance (Author)

I’ve just finished reading this and honestly i couldn’t put it down. Elon Musk is an extraordinary individual who divides opinion, but i’ll go on record saying he is nothing short of amazing. Ambition to change the world is rarely ever realised but Elon is making it happen with Tesla, SolarCity and SpaceX. The PayPal and Zip2 founder put’s it all on the line as you’ll discover from this easy to read page turner. Recommended to get your inner Entrepreneur fired up. Check it out here and you wont regret it.

Very practical, easy to follow advice on how to get your business going. The $100 startup blends helpful tips with snapshot of experiences from others who have made it already. If you have the fire in you, this book could help show you how to turn your business idea into a reality. More motivational than an instruction manual but a light hearted enjoyable book for budding entrepreneurs to see how others have done it.
