We’ll add the tools we use to this page to hopefully create a useful, one-stop-shop, for everything you need to get started online

To get started something simple like shared hosting through Bluehost or GoDaddy will be more than suitable for most sites. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is probably the next step but comes at an additional cost.

WordPress – ‘nough said!

For my local host web development environment i use XAMPP for windows. I’ve used a few of these bundled packages in the past and XAMPP is as easy as it gets.
PHP, MySQL, Apache is all i really use and it provides that in a simple to use interface

Everyone will have their favorite and mine is TextPad. I’m sure there are better ones out there, in fact I’ve seen some, but for the moment i just need something simple so this does the job nicely.
